"Techie after Fifty" delivers low cost digital literacy training to the seniors so they can develop the skills and confidence to access information and services online. The program provides training in computers, tablets and smart phones to help seniors to stay connected with their families, friends and communities.

This successful program is an initiative of the CCE and is funded through a partnership between the Ganpat University.

Over the years, technology has revolutionized our world. Technology has created amazing tools and resources, putting useful information at their fingertips.

Modern technology has made it possible for the discovery of many functional and utility devices like the smartwatch and the smartphone. With all of these revolutions, technology has also made our lives easier, faster, better… and more fun.

The future of technology is even more interesting than what is happening right now. In few years, we will be talking about driver-less cars and robots working in factories. However, let’s focus on highlighting the ways technology has changed our lives. Below are some of the ways we have been transformed by technology.

Course Details

Techie after Fifty training program offer to support learning new tech skills. Certification programs, professional development opportunities, and group instruction may be found in your area at adult education centers, senior centers, career centers, and community colleges.

You may even find that retirement centers and local libraries are offering courses to support learning these new skills. As a bonus, campus will have free computers LAB for you to practice on! Some adult literacy programs offer tutoring in computer literacy as well, so consider giving your local program a call.

Technology is now so ubiquitous in life and business that things that were once optional are now simply part of the expected employee skill set. We can all learn to be more comfortable navigating new technology that can enrich our lives and make us better workers.
