Android is a popular, free, and open-source mobile platform that has taken the wireless world by storm. This course provide comprehensive guidance for software development teams on designing, developing, testing, debugging, and distributing professional Android applications.
If you’re a veteran mobile developer, you can find tips and tricks to streamline the development process and take advantage of Android's unique features. If you’re new to mobile development, it provides everything you need to make a smooth transition from traditional software development to mobile development.
After successful completion of the programme, one can develop the applications similar to OLX, LinkedIn, Weather etc. It is expected that through practice and understanding the requirement, appropriate mobile application would be developed by the participants of this programme. As far as career up-gradation opportunities are concerned, one can migrate from Web Application development to Mobile application development and has broad scope of growth opportunity in career.

Unit 1: Basic Fundamentals
Setting up the Android Application Development Environment, Creating, Testing and Debugging Applications, Gradle, Resources, DDMS and Logcat, Mainfest file, Activity life cycle
Unit 2: Layout & Controls & Fragment
Controls, Widgets, Layouts (Linear Layout, Relative Layout, List view, Grid Layout, Gird View, Frame Layout, Drawer Layout, Coordinator Layout, Constraint Layout).
Unit 3: Material Design
TextInputLayout, Floating Button, Snack bar, Toolbar Layout, Collapsing Toolbar, Tab Layout, Card Layout, Tab Layout,
Unit 4: Working with SQLite Database and other storage in Android
DDMS, Use of Shared preferences, Android Data and Storage API: Working with Files and Directories, SqliteOpenhelper, Content values, CRUD operations using SQLite database
Unit 5: Web service and WEB API
XML parsing, Json Parsing, Third Party Libraries (Volley, Retrofit, Glide, Picasso), AsyncTask Operations
Unit 6: Notification & Provider
Firebase notification, BroadcastReceivers, ContentProviders
Unit 7: Publish and advertisement
Prepare & publish android app over a play store, Admob Integration.
Unit 8: Project Development
Student's would be able to develop a project on mobile application development, while pursuing the course.
