Piazza.com is basically a question-answer online tool (supported android/IOS application also available) for cluttering the email communication with your students.
1) Piazza is integrated within Canvas, supported by ITS, and available to all U-M instructors free of charge.
2) Piazza supports organized online discussions and Q&A that students can access 24/7.
3) Students can comment on answers or post follow-up inquiries.
4) Students can edit questions and answers wiki-style.
5) Instructors can respond to questions and endorse a student's answer.
6) There's a LaTeX editor for equations and support for multimedia.
7) Tags facilitate targeted searches.
8) Analytics for student usage help instructors assess participation
Faculty used Piazza in diverse, and sometimes unexpected, ways to address teaching and learning challenges specific to their courses.
Challenge #1: Handling lots of email Q&A
Challenge #2: Getting students to participate in online discussions
Challenge #3: Helping students prepare for exams collaboratively
Challenge #4: Including all students in class discussion and tracking participation
Here I am sharing some of the video links for your help. Trust me if you watch all the videos then also it will take only 12 minutes for you to set up the class on piazza.com
