John is a Flatonia High School graduate. He studied Architectural Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin before enlisting in the Marine Corps. John received his B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University. John has 20 years experience in education; 13 years as a Network Administrator and Technology Director. John moved into the classroom and loves it! John has worked in the service and construction industries and strives to maintain his carpentry skills.

John currently teaches Business Information Management I and II, Fundamentals of Computer Science Computer Science I, Principles of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and Principles of Art, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications.

John understands technology is integrated into all career fields and wants his students to have a high comfort level at entry level duties and excel if they choose to enter an immersive field of study or trade.
