The core objective of studying, teaching, practicing and introspecting about law is to equip the development of active citizens with specialized knowledge so that they can act proactively to build a society of freedom, equality and respect for the ‘other’ and the ‘othered’. The 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Legal Issues presents a platform for sharing fresh ideas and innovative research being conducted in the present times. The objective of our Conference is to contribute towards an interactive and dynamic forum of dialogue that expresses concern about different violations and complication in the society and discusses the ideas that lead to the road of reform.

The development of nations is measured through the way it is able to handle the subjects and issues that arise with modernity. Often, different rankings/positions of countries on several indices differ because of the administrative setup, laws, politics and cultural norms that are characteristic of the territory. Thus, if any nation aspires to transform into an advanced community, it is imperative for its intelligentsia to communicate upon topics ranging from Human Rights and Identity politics to day to day functioning in various fields like health, media, constitutional, banking, managerial, social and business related regulations among plethora of sub-themes.

A significant input that the legal literati make is to prepare and make citizens aware of their surroundings and educate their scholars, students and audience of the arenas that can provide them justice or at the very least respite or remission. It is also the essential condiment that keeps the society intact whether it is through the rules of a tribe, directives of a monarch or the laws of a country. The conference thus invites abstracts for papers on all emerging legal themes on which a further discussion will provide a more nuanced and well thought out perspective. The abstracts can be both on legal subjects and on pressures that enable the evolution, amendment or formulation of new policies.
