Noteworthy at GES

January 18, 2019

Congratulations to our latest Positive Office Referrals. We are so proud of your accomplishments and encourage you to keep up the great behavior.

Mrs. Boyles challenged our GES family, students and staff to pick up a book and read for 30 minutes on our snow day, Monday, January 15th. Great job to all of our readers that accepted the challenge!

After studying and learning about binary code, first and second grade students created a bracelet using binary code. Students used their initials, translated them into binary code and picked colors to represent their letters.

Students in Ms. Gunn's class worked on writing about their goals for the New Year in a Google Slides presentation. Students answered questions about what they would like to improve on, what they want to stop doing, and what they plan to continue loving in the New Year. Then they worked to find pictures and write captions for each of their ideas. Students enjoyed sharing their plans for the New Year with each other!
