Why Naviance?
Naviance is an online tool provided to all RCHS students through their Rapid Identity account. Naviance has many career and college exploration tools all in one place! Below are a few highlights of what Naviance has to offer.
SuperMatch
SuperMatch is a college search tool in Naviance. You can select criteria, like location, campus size, major, and resources. SuperMatch will give you suggested schools and let you know if you are an "academic match" for the campus based on your inputted GPA and test scores.
Find this tool under the "Colleges" tab on the main menu, and then "Find Your Fit."
Career Cluster Finder
Career Cluster Finder is a career exploration tool that will give you recommended career clusters to explore based on your interests and personal qualities. Students can retake this assessment as often as they like.

RoadTrip Nation
RoadTrip Nation interview archive of 922 leaders around the nation. There are 7698 videos on struggle, triumph, and self discovery that have been broken into 48 themes and 29 interests . Students can use the "Find Your Road" tool to locate interviews, or they can browse by "Interests" or "Themes."
Find this tool under the "Careers" tab on the main menu, and then "Explore RoadTrip Nation videos" under the "Experiential" section.

Once you are logged into Naviance, find this tool under the "Colleges" tab on the main menu, and then "Find Your Fit."
Adding Colleges in Naviance
Once you are logged into Naviance, choose "Colleges I'm Apply To" from the main page.
Requesting a Transcript in Naviance
During the school year, students should use Naviance to request electronic transcripts for universities (initial, mid-year, or final). Electronic transcript requests are typically filled within 1-2 business days. (Please see this page for instructions on how to request a final transcript during the summer.)
If you need a physical copy of a transcript for a scholarship or for a school that does not accept electronic transcripts, please see the instructions here for requesting physical transcripts.

Matching with Common App + Naviance
Students applying through Common App need to match their account in Naviance. This allows your counselor and teachers to complete their steps for our campus.

Common App Letter of Recommendation Requests in Naviance
Students applying through Common App need to request their teacher letters of recommendation through Naviance.

Uploading a Brag Sheet in Naviance
Students should use Naviance to share a brag sheet with their counselor and/or teachers they are requesting Letters of Recommendation from.

Complete the form.
"Save As" with your last name in the file name.
Go to Naviance and click "About Me" and then "My Stuff."
Choose "Journal."
Click the pink plus (+) sign to add your document.
Choose your Brag Sheet file and upload to Naviance. Make sure to give permission for this to be viewed by your counselor and/or teachers.
Email your counselor and/or teachers and let them know you've added your brag sheet to Naviance.
Signing Up for a College Visit in Naviance
Log in to ClassLink (my.crpusd.org)
Choose NAVIANCE from the applications. Classlink should auto-log you in.
Scroll down and find "What's New" or click "Colleges" on the main menu and then "College Visits."
Click "Register Now."
Sign up for an in-person event but need a virtual option? Sign up for a virtual event but want to watch it in the CCC? Event happening during a class period and need a pass? Register in Naviance and then reach out to Ms. Hazlewood: jess_hazlewood@crpusd.org
