What is an Office of Mathematics Improvement (OMI) Math Coach?
Funded by the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE)
Created to follow the Alabama Numeracy Act (ANA)
Purpose is to improve mathematics achievement for all students, with a particular emphasis on supporting Tier 1 instruction
Definitely not an administrator
Definitely an instructional partner whose goal is to collaborate with teachers in order to best support students
