ESTIMATION 180 Tasks

Andrew Stadel is the designer of Estimation 180 and has mapped out 180 days (and more) of quick estimation tasks for the students.

How to get students engaged:
*Click on the "Estimation 180 Tasks"  and choose the day you want to start with your class*
1. Reveal the first picture.
2. Allow students to think.
3.  Have students decide on an estimation that is too high, an estimation that is too low, and then their actual estimation.
4.  Let students discuss among their pairs/groups and then have a couple of students share.
5.  Do a drumroll or something fun to reveal the actual answer and see who is the closest.

Students could put their estimations on a number line and track how close their estimations are to their peers.
Students could create their own estimation tasks with a group of peers for a week.
