Here are a few quick tips & tricks as you start the year with Schoology:
...If you do, you will change the course name for every teacher who teaches that course.
...Until then, plan good lessons, and create your course content in the Schoology Sandbox that you created. It will just take a couple of minutes to copy it over to the class/subject courses once they are available.
Note: You may also create course content in the resources section of Schoology, but we have found that using a course sandbox works best.
...Due dates will show up in the course calendar, will appear on the students calendar, and will allow the system to show you when a student's submission is late, and are important when syncing grades with ESP. Due dates should always be set for days that school is in session. If not, they will cause problems with Schoology grade sync.
...While there are a couple of workarounds out there, none are sanctioned by Schoology, and they often cause frustration.
