Need a form?

Is Ms. Fujii absent today and you are missing a form that you need? Want to make sure you get all of the points you can? Here are the forms we use for class:

  • Daily Checklist (2 pts)- Don't forget to write ALL your missing assignments!
  • Goal Sheet (5 pts on EF check days)- "none" or only "read" for the day does not count! Pick 3 things you are going to do today- be specific.
  • Missing Assignment Tracker- If you have a missing assignment, write it down to remind you what we need to work on.
  • Our Google Classroom link.


You can do any of these assignments for 20 minutes each

Task Analysis

Recycling Project (pg 23)

Book Directions: Interview one family member and three neighbors about their recycling habits. Ask them questions about what they do with paper, cans, glass, and other items. Make a list of questions ahead of time that you will ask them during the interview. Once you have finished the four interviews, write three paragraphs explaining their recycling habits. Chart their responses in a bar graph, showing their method for recycling, such as separating all items, throwing all items in the garbage, or just recycling certain items. Then create a poster showing how you can encourage more people in your community to recycle. Finally, prepare a 2- 5 minute presentation explaining what you learned.

Animal Project (pg 33)

Book Directions: Choose an animal we have been studying in class. Take a 5x7 note card and write the name of the animal at the top of one side. On the other side of the card, draw a picture of your chosen animal. Write five facts about the animal on the side with its name. Check your picture to make sure the facts you wrote can be seen in the picture.

Book Review (pg 34)

Book Directions: Choose and read a novel for this month. Write a 200-word plot summary. Describe at least three main characters in the book. Write the conflict and the resolution. Give proof from the story. Use quotes. Using old magazine and newspapers create a collage. Show the characters and plot in the book. Finally, prepare a three-minute oral report to give in a front of the class.
