I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Dr. Bing Zhang Department of Statistics at the University of Kentucky starting August 2025.
In 2025, I obtained my PhD in the Department of Statistics at the Pennsylvania State University, under the supervision of Dr. Bing Li.
In 2020, I obtained my B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a minor in Computer Science and Technology. My undergraduate advisors are Dr. Ji-Feng Zhang and Dr. Yanlong Zhao. In spring 2019, I was enrolled in a non-degree visiting program at the University of Southern California.
My current research interests are sufficient dimension reduction, functional data analysis, nonparametric and semiparametric statistics, metric space valued data analysis, and causal inference.
I also enjoy gaming on Nintendo switch. My recent favorite games include: Splatoon 3; Donkey Kong: Bananza; Mario Cart: World; etc.
