The first Southern California Algebraic Topology Conference (socAlgTop) will be held May 11th, 2024 at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IPAM) on UCLA's campus.

socAlgTop aims to provide a venue for the Southern California algebraic topology community to come together and build connections. We are particularly invested in creating an inclusive and enjoyable space to discuss mathematics and convene with colleagues.

Members of underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply, as well as early career mathematicians, regardless of any aspect of identity, including (but not limited) to age, race, ethnicity, color, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, socioeconomic class, religion, disability, military status, political ideology, visa status, economic status, and language/linguistic ability. While the workshop is aimed at those local to Southern California, all are welcome to attend.

Invited Speakers:
Jesse Wolfson (UCI)
Aravind Asok* (USC)
Zhouli Xu (UCSD)
