Steef Kersbergen [They|Them] is a performance artist working on the border between live and digital works, going back and forth between creating performance-based-videos and video-based-performances. They are currently finishing up the Master of Performance Practices at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem. There they are researching performative image making and the (de-/re-)construction of the nonbinary identity.

Title: A lady once told me anyone would leave

A collaborative project around the moment of realizing that one is alone in their body. Based on autobiographic desires to counter the feeling of losing your mind, always kept in the realm of longing, for actually giving in to the urges might bring you in places you can’t control any more.
