I am an interdisciplinary artist based in London. This year I have been experimenting with performance-based film-making, and performance with stop-motion animation, object theatre and video art.

Title: Orangreen

A shapeshifting being inhabiting a digital landscape remembers organic life, loss and love. This film elaborates on an experiment made during the course Performance-based Filmmaking by Vest and Page (August 2022), responding to the prompt: time/space/effects; and is inspired by the tutors and other course participants. The animated beings are made with keyframes taken from a performance whereby I imitated gestures from Eadweard Muybridge’s motion-sequence photography. The text is from poet and artist William Blake, and from my friend, poet and musician Mark Leighton.
