Title: Full full, half half

Alter-ego Tatyana, a Czech rhythmic gymnast, strives for control. In a local park, training and performance blur as she seeks the energy to persevere. The work sees the artist struggle to hold Tatyana, there is slippage, but also glimpses of new ways being through the commitment to a practice of re-invention. The film is inspired by Vera Chytilova’s 1963 work “Something different”. Filmed on location in Broadgate Park and Pidgeon Loft Studios, Nottingham.
