Transforming Critique

One of the greatest challenges of the sudden shift to online learning was the critique. Faculty had to figure out how to continue the role of critique as a meaningful learning experience. How can we replicate the critique experience in an asynchronous or synchronous remote course? What new methodologies or platforms can we use in the reconfigured studio classroom? Should we reinvent the role of critique? What has worked best for our students? While we may not be able to replicate the studio classroom experience, this discussion with both faculty and students will consider and share new pedagogical approaches to transform the critique experience for our students.
