High Falls Terrace Park Exploration Center

This design features an interactive building inspired by Lella Vignelli's 1982 Hauserman Showroom. The angular, movable walls are used to direct the flow of traffic and display images and information about the city of Rochester. Also featured is a small cafe and an organically shaped ice rink in the winter which turns into a water spray park in the summer. This shape is in juxtaposition with the boxy, triangular form of the main building.  This educational recreation center is a destination for individuals and families looking for adventure and relaxation all in one.

This project was created as a part of RIT's Interior Design Program's Introduction to Interior Design I. Focus was on the introduction to space planning and creating an experience.
