What is Maker Space?

The Maker Space in the WE Library inspires students to become self-directed learners to uncover talents and interests by thinking, making, producing, solving, collaborating, and creating.

Maker mondays Meeting dates

We will meet from 3:00-4:20 on Mondays on the following dates.

Meetings during the 2018-2019 school year will occur on Mondays only.


Fall:

October 1, 15, 22, 29

November 5, 12, 26

December 3,10,17

Spring:

January 14, 28

February 4, 11, 25

March 4, 18, 25

April 1, 15, 29

May 6, 13*, 20

*STAAR Day - Attendance is never mandatory. Available for interested students.


During the first meeting, we will discuss the responsibilities and expectations contract. Students will take the contract home to review with parents and return signed forms in order to continue in the club.

To maintain membership in the Maker Mondays Club, students are expected to respond to direction, engage meaningfully in self-directed projects of their choosing, maintain their workspace and materials, and interact respectfully with other members.
