Google Classroom Policy

The purpose of us using Google Classroom in class is to digitally facilitate collaboration & discussion. Assignments and due dates will be posted in the Google Classroom and will require you to add them to any planner or calendar you use to track your assignments. You will be responsible for turning in and "marking as done" your assignments. Any content or information not on Google Classroom will be located on this Google Site. Parents can access this Google Site where major information can be found.

Google Classroom does allow for students and teachers to communicate through discussions. Any comment posted will be respectful and monitored for inappropriate content. You will use the terrific tool to increase and challenge your learning and those around you.

Phones & Headphones Policy

Upon entering the classroom, phones and headphones should be put away. Personal phone usage will not occur during class unless given direct permission. Permission for use will not carry over day to day, do not assume permission will be given. Misuse will result in a warning and then phones and/or headphones being confiscated. When headphones are allowed, there can only be 1 headphone in the ear.

After the "2 minute alarm" goes off at the end of class and you have completed the "Pick up, pack up & put away" procedures, you may use your phone.
