Library Expo is an annual staff development event presented by Richardson ISD Library & Information Technology and Plano ISD Learning Media Services and is free to school librarians in the North Texas area.

Google Certifications

Google Certified trainers will spend 90 minutes getting you prepared with the knowledge and skills you will need to pass your level 1 or 2 skills test.

(Test will not be given during Library Expo)

Mini-Makers Fair

Hands on learning! Step into our Mini-Makers Fair and get your hands on some of the great maker ideas and products you have seen or heard about. Then take it to the next level by talking with the guides about integration into your program.


Taking the idea of an escape room and mixing it with educational content and you have BreakoutEDU. Come see if you can escape and stay to learn how to bring it to your school.

Breakout Sessions

Digital note-taking, spotting fake news, & telling your story are just some of the many topics area librarians are coming in to share. Learn their processes, procedures, and implementations of the trends and traditions relevant to libraries in the 21st century.


North Texas has some of the best Library vendors in the nation. Come and spend time time with the vendors discovering their latest products and how they can help you during the school year.
