P-TECH
What is P-TECH?
P-TECH is an early college program that allows high school students to earn either an associates degree, industry certification(s), or endorsement while also working towards their high school diploma. Students are enrolled in a DCCD area college and take real college level and credit bearing courses!.....and all for FREE! P-TECH can save our Wildcat families thousands of dollars each year!
Incoming 9th grade students must apply for entry into P-TECH. If accepted, students enter a 4 year commitment to complete all required courses within their individual pathway chosen. There are 3 areas of focus students to choose from:
Business, Marketing, Finance
Criminal Justice, or
Architecture & Construction

Experience and participate in college courses at no cost due to dual enrollment.
Gain real world skill such as time management, relationship building, and communication.
Build a resume and work ethic through internships, apprenticeships, and job training.
Start college with up to 60 credits.
Earn a high school diploma, college credit, a two-year post secondary certificate, or industry certification.
Upon graduation students have the academic and professional skills required to either continue their education in a four-year post secondary institution or enter into entry level careers in architecture, engineering, construction, business, advanced manufacturing, animation, gaming, criminal justice, and other competitive fields.
