The following are requirements for trying out for LHHS Cheerleader / Mascot.

If any requirement is not met, the student will not be eligible to try out.

Residence within LHHS boundaries. Students who will be new to RISD will need to turn in proof of residency by March 9th. (Email proof of residency to: alan.kirby@risd.orgÂ
Had a minimum 90% average in Individual & Civic Responsibility grades from the 1st Semester of the 2020-21 school year.
Have earned the designated number of credits towards graduation for your grade level.
Complete and submit the student and parent application form by March 9th.
Any outstanding cheer balance paid by March 9th.
MUST attend one of the scheduled Virtual Tryout Orientation Meetings.Â

All Squads & Mascot Tryouts
Students will not be allowed to leave until the entire squad has tried out and scores have been verified.
If needed, call backs will be done at the end of the squad tryout.

Tryout Workshop & Tryouts are closed to the public.Â
Parents may wait outside, but are NOT allowed to enter the building.Â
NO FILMING allowed during Tryout Workshops or Tryouts.
Candidates are NOT allowed to receive help outside of the clinic from current Senior cheerleaders. This will disqualify you from making the squad.
