Principles of Education & Training
I am a wife and mom of 3 (21 yr old, 14 yr old at RHS and an 8 yr old at MST). I graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-4 and then my MBA. I taught/lead Pre-K for 15 years before making the switch to junior high students. This will be my second year at FMJH and I can not wait to start the year! I currently teach Principles of Business, Marketing and Finance and Principles of Education & Training, have have also taught College and Career Exploration. I am a US Navy Veteran (7 yrs), and when you combine the military and pre-k together apparently it makes an amazing recipe for a 7th and 8th grade teacher. I can not wait to meet your children and help them grow this year!

Nov 3rd & 8th: 1-4 Strategy Lesson Test
Nov 11th: Veteran's Day
Nov 14th: 8th grade field trip to LHHS
Nov 20th-24th: Thanksgiving Break - No School
Nov 27th: Math Interm Test in Advisory
Both Principles of Business, Marketing & Finance and Principles of Education and Training are eligible for High School credit if successfully completed. These classes have been created to give our students an advantage in the workforce by allowing our students to graduate with industry ready certifications. Principle classes should be prioritized and best effort is always expected.
All of our classwork and assignments are online. If a student does not have a charged Chromebook they will not be able to participate in class assignments. If they do not participate in the assignments they will not be able to successfully pass this class. They are welcome to use the plug outlets if they have a charger. In the event we are doing a hands on, paper lesson, those materials will be provided.
