Students will develop a nunderstanding of world history and Theatre styles through costume. Students will develop costume construction skills through project-based learning. Students will learn how to coordinate with designers and directors, interpret constructive criticism, and solve problems as they apply costume construction techniques and build costumes for Theatrical productions. Students will begin to develop the skills necessary to interpret a script and create their own costume designs.

Students will study theory and techniques used to bring a dramatic text to life on the stage. This include drama and artistic design theory, translating text to the stage, working with actors, and auditioning techniques; all students are required to produce a published 20-30 minute stage play.
