Sometime during the 70s, the Cult Mechanicum emerged as a zealous cult embodying the fusion of technological worship and advanced scientific inquiry. Once an independent order adhering to the Omnissiah’s teachings, they integrated sometime in 2024 and now operate under the eyes of the SCP Foundation, blending their reverence for technology with the Foundation's mission to contain and protect anomalous entities. Their integration with the Foundation seemed to be natural, as it allowed them to enhance humanity's understanding of reality itself while pursuing the sanctification of technology as both divine and indispensable. The Cult’s Tech Priests were dispersed across the globe to aid every facility with needs regarding technology and development.
