AirDrop - Setup

AirDrop is a feature that lets you transfer files between iPads (as well as iPhones & Macs) without requiring an internet connection.

To set it up on your devices:

1. Open Settings app

2. Ensure both BlueTooth and Wifi are turned ON

3. Tap General > AirDrop

4. Choose 'Everyone' setting. This will allow iPads to see each other. Turn it off when you no longer want the feature.

Using AirDrop:

Example - transferring an image. Open the image:

  1. Tap 'Actions' button
  2. Select the recipient device
  3. Target device will emit sound, and corresponding app will open to display file
