Blended Learning

March 3, 2017 - High Schools look at Blended Learning

Our March 3, 2017 our high school teachers gathered to talk about Blended Learning & support for inquiry. The day featured presentations by Assistant Superintendent Ron Sugden, Rosanne Massinon, Literacy Leader Barbara Penner, Steve Doell, Brent Unruh, Jon Warkentin, and myself, Reg Reimer. The slides I presented are at right. You will need to be logged in with your PRSD G-Suite account to see the content.

Rosanne Massinon (Science Teacher, Carman Collegiate) gave us a student perspective on blended learning via an interview about how inquiry is shaping the learner experience in her Biology classes. (See video at right)

Finally, several break-out sessions looked at Google Classroom. At right, see 'Google Classroom basics: cheat sheet for teachers'. A big thank-you to Erifill Davis at GoogleAppsAction.com for sharing that under Creative Commons 4.0!
