Academy of Craft Training
The Academy of Craft Training recruits, educates and guides high school students for educational and employment opportunities in the construction industry. The areas of instruction include: building construction, masonry, HVAC/plumbing, welding and electrical.
Pell City High School sends students to the simulated workplace at the Alabama Workforce Training Center in Birmingham. The students leave on a Pell City School System Bus each morning and arrive back at school by 11:15 to finish the day with their core academic classes.
