David Shirley

David Shirley graduated from Seneca High School in 1978 and lettered in baseball all four years. During his senior year he helped lead his team to the state play-offs. He made All-Region his junior and senior year and his batting average was over .500 his senior year. David went to Newberry College on a baseball scholarship. After college David returned to Seneca and worked as the Athletic Director for Seneca Recreation Department and was instrumental in designing and building Shaver Complex in its beginning stages. He is currently the Director of Missions for the Beaverdam Baptist Association in Oconee County.
