Our lab focuses on the computational investigation of the mechanics of engineering materials, and risk evaluation and management in digital health research. We investigate how the material properties and behaviors of various engineering materials in different environments at multi-scales. The research aims to provide fundamental explanations of the origins of mutability of materials and enable the design of novel materials for biomedical and engineering applications.
On the other hand, we apply current innovative tools and approaches to develop the risk model and tools for clinical decision support. The goal is to create new knowledge and develop clinical tools to inform and support clinical decisions and best practice in critical care. A pipeline will also be developed to organize detailed clinical data which allows researchers to access the data from different sources.
