She loves the students, cares so much for them, is full of patience, and jumps in wherever and whenever she is needed! For most of my years teaching I've flown solo so I'm used to being independent and ALWAYS busy! It is interesting how even with a paraprofessional you still are so busy but there is someone else in the classroom experiencing it all with you! We have multiple sets of eyes and ears and that also means more time to be there for our students. Whether it is a bandage needed after recess, a Chapstick for chapped lips, a student needing a snack halfway through the morning, working with students side by side to encourage them when completing assessments, going to Specials, Lunch, and Recess EVERY SINGLE DAY with these students, Vaia is there for them!
