At French International Primary School, we aim to provide an environment that promotes a love of Mandarin language & culture. We focus to develop confidence and competence in speaking Mandarin.

Students will have Mandarin lessons once a week for 45 minutes. Lessons are taught in simplified characters. The Mandarin teacher is supported by two teaching assistants which allows for differentiation taught in small groups. The Mandarin program is designed based on a themes framework to develop speaking and listening skills as well as reading and writing skills.
