**Registration Instructions**

  • January 9th- Registration opens

  • January 16th - Online Registration Deadline (Miss the deadline? No problem! Email kabrennan@alaska.edu )

  • May 12th - All coursework due, unless other arrangements have been made.

  • May 12th - Sign-in sheets are due, please add them here.

📢 Delivery Procedure & Expectations

DELIVERY

Prior to meeting:

  1. Print the Initial Sign in Sheet

  2. Share the link for everyone to print their book.

First meeting:

  1. Make sure attendees seeking credit sign-in at every meeting using the Initial sign in sheet.

  2. Establish a meeting schedule

  3. Divide up responsibilities for chapters and activities among the group.

  4. Submit sign in sheet to Amanda Adams to confirm UAA registration.

Following meetings:

  1. Print the ongoing sign in sheet and have attendees seeking credit sign-in at every meeting.

  2. Lead/organize the discussions/activities at each meeting.

Upon completion:

  1. Submit sign-in sheet at the conclusion of the course HERE.

EXPECTATIONS

Time: a 1-credit course requires 15 contact hours and 30 practical hours = 45 total

  • Contact hours are the meetings - can be whole or small group.

  • Practical hours are the classroom applications - we do not track this directly.

Content: the book serves as the base resource.

  • The group may utilize any additional resource that supports the content being learned.

Activities: the site leader or group determines the activities conducted.

  • This may include but is not limited to - discussions, reflection, activities, small group work, sharing of classroom practices, learning walks, feedback on ideas, projects.
