Let’s Celebrate Nikiski North Star’s Students Returning to School!
Nikiski North Star Elementary celebrates your return to school with a school-wide competition!
We need your help designing an inspirational motto and design for 2020-2021 commemorative Nikiski North Star Elementary stickers, magnets and patches.
This is a school-wide project beginning this Friday, September 4th, and will need to be turned in to your teacher no later than Wednesday September 9th. Judging will be done by our Nikiski North Star staff on Friday, September 11th. There will be one winner from the primary classes (k-2), and one winner from the intermediate wing (3-5). Winners will be announced in our Monday Morning Announcements with Mrs. Gilman on Monday, September 14th.
Winning designs will be made into stickers, magnets, and/or patches.
Rules:
Student designs must be done on a plain white 8” by 11” sheet of paper.
Your design and words should be done large enough to see detail in your image.
All artwork must be done by the student.
Primary students can use 3 words for motto.
Intermediate can use a full sentence for motto.
Drawings and words must be inspirational and positive.
Drawings must be colorful and colored in dark (as colors will be more vivid when transferred to stickers, magnets, patches).
