1. At 9:45 join our class Zoom meeting. We will do our phonemic awareness listening games during our time together. Your teachers are going to wear their Santa hats! We'd love it if you do, too!

1. Complete the review pages 339-342 in your math practice book. Then please post your math pages to Seesaw and we'll let you know if there are any problems you need to look over again.
2. Get a green light on Reflex math

Reading & Writing

1. We are so lucky that the author, Jan Brett, is the person who reads this story. She tells all about how the story came to be and her husband even plays his instrument to help tell the story. Then complete the pages that go with it. You should post them on Seesaw when you're done.
2. Keep trucking along in your handwriting book. Watch the video and complete pages 92 and 93. We are almost done with the whole book.

Optional Art Activity

1. Watch the video on how to do the Christmas Tree Luminary project. You'll need the materials for Project 1 and the little battery tea light that came with your materials. Watch the video and follow along with the directions. If you want you can share your finished work on Seesaw!

1. Complete at least two pages of your choice from the Place Value Packet that was sent in our last bag of materials. It is a stapled packet that has a pencil on the top that says Color it! Take pictures of the pages you choose to complete and post them on Seesaw.

Reading & Writing

1. Listen to the story Town Mouse & Country Mouse. Then complete the practice pages that go with it in your packet or on Seesaw.

Optional Art Activity

1. Hi friends! Here is a fun mitten art project you can do. The materials are paper clipped together and labeled Project #2. If you want you can share your finished work on Seesaw!

1. At 9:25 join our whole school Zoom meeting. We will have a special presentation of comedian/storyteller Chris Fascione. Your teachers are going to wear their Santa hats! We'd love it if you do, too!

Math

1. Take the math test for Chapter 5 that was in your new set of supplies. You can have your grown up read you the questions, but please don't get help with the problems. When you are done, take pictures and put them on Seesaw. Make sure they are really good pictures and we can see all of your answers.

1. Listen to the story Comet's Nine Lives. Then complete the practice pages that go with it in your packet or on Seesaw.
2. Watch handwriting video # 43 and complete pages 94. Yay! YOU HAVE GRADUATED 2ND GRADE HANDWRITING!

1. Today our optional art activity is cutting hanging stars. There are two videos explaining how to make the star. You can watch either one or both! Try to make one for yourself. The materials you'll need are with Project #3. If you want you can share your finished work on Seesaw!

1. Click on the Scholastic News-How Do Hippos Brush Teeth and listen to the news magazine. You can also explore the video, slideshow, game, and activity. When you're finished, please complete the activity on Seesaw. The student login is secondnns.
2. Listen to the story Honey...Honey...Lion! Then complete the pages that go with it and put them on Seesaw so we can see how great you are doing!

Optional Art Activity

1. Today our optional art activity is a snowman in a snowstorm. Please watch Mrs. Hooper's video and give it a try yourself. The materials you'll need are with Project 4. If you want you can share your finished work on Seesaw!
2. You also have Project #5 that you may complete. The supplies you will need are in the little Ziplock bag labeled Project #5 to make a wreath. There is a picture of Mrs. Hooper's example and a video to show you how to do it. These are also great projects that can be saved for over winter break. If you complete the project, post a picture on Seesaw so we can see your finished work.
