We are so lucky that the author, Jan Brett, is the person who reads this story. She tells all about how the story came to be and her husband even plays his instrument to help tell the story. Then complete the pages that go with it. You should post them on Seesaw when you're done.
Keep trucking along in your handwriting book. Watch the video and complete pages 92 and 93. We are almost done with the whole book.
Optional Art Activity
Watch the video on how to do the Christmas Tree Luminary project. You'll need the materials for Project 1 and the little battery tea light that came with your materials. Watch the video and follow along with the directions. If you want you can share your finished work on Seesaw!

Zoom
At 9:25 join our whole school Zoom meeting. We will have a special presentation of comedian/storyteller Chris Fascione. Your teachers are going to wear their Santa hats! We'd love it if you do, too!
Math
Take the math test for Chapter 5 that was in your new set of supplies. You can have your grown up read you the questions, but please don't get help with the problems. When you are done, take pictures and put them on Seesaw. Make sure they are really good pictures and we can see all of your answers.

You also have Project #5 that you may complete. The supplies you will need are in the little Ziplock bag labeled Project #5 to make a wreath. There is a picture of Mrs. Hooper's example and a video to show you how to do it. These are also great projects that can be saved for over winter break.
