Here are some great resources to support RB's learning. You'll find supplemental reading, math, and emotional regulation activities by clicking the links below.

Reading

Each day as a part of reading class, your student participates in a phonemic awareness program. The videos on this page are each about 5-7 minutes long. Your child should repeat after the teacher and include the hand motions. Click Miss. Emily's photo to begin.

Complete on:

  • Monday - Friday

Each day you will complete a reading mastery lesson with a story and a two page workbook activity. Read the storythen complete your workbook page that goes with it, front & back.

Math

Each day as a part of math class, your student participates in TouchMath.

Writing

Journal: Each day pick a journal prompt from the packet and write 3 sentences about it in your notebook.

Grammar: Complete one grammar assignment each day

Every day your child participates in an emotional regulation class. Click the picture for a link to some short daily activities (5-10minutes)

The Zones of Regulation is a curriculum geared toward helping students gain skills in consciously regulating their actions, which in turn leads to increased control and problem solving abilities. ... Starfall, Funbrain Jr., and ABCya are great websites with educational games. Storyline online streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations.
