Thanks for dropping into our virtual classroom! Below you will find some helpful tips to navigating our website (click on the arrows to the right for a drop down with more info). Please feel free to contact us and let us know if things are not working.

How do I use this site?

All the information you will need is just 1-click away. If you need to get back to these tips, click on the K in the left top corner. Use the other tabs at the top of the page to access the following:

HOME LEARNING ACTIVITIES - Where you will find work to be completed. Work through the content at your leisure and pace.

SPECIALS are where you will find links to Ms. Christy and Mr. Fraad's websites. Please be sure to visit these sites for great information.

RESOURCES are where you will find links to extend your child's learning. These may include Brain Breaks, educational apps, tips/advice for families, art resources, science experiments, virtual field trips...

Please let me know if something does not work or you are having trouble accessing things.

Family Corner:

This is the place on the Home Learning Activity page where you will find helpful tips or videos, reflective questions to ask or ways to extend your child's learning. It's ok if your student makes a mistake on their work! We would like to be able to see what they can do on their own, so please limit how much you help them. Thank you!

How much work should I expect for my Child?

Grades K-2nd: A workload of approximately 1-1.5 hours a day with three major academic components: (Reading, Math and Integrated Content (Writing, Speaking, Listening in Social Emotional, Science, Social Studies, Health, Music, Art etc...) sprinkled with opportunities and choice of brain and movement breaks. Chunks of instruction should be in 10-15 minute increments.

Math - 20 minutes

Reading - 20 minutes

Integrated Content - 20 minutes
