Our major research areas focus on quantum optics with atoms and photons, regrouped into four major axes:
Quantum computing where we design fast control and real-time readout on atomic and photonic platforms. A second QC system is being planned to scale up experiments and open new topics.
Quantum memory using ultrahigh-OD Cs ensembles to push photon-storage bandwidth to the GHz regime with high efficiency and fidelity.
Photon-pair & entanglement sources using SPDC/FWM with narrowband, memory-compatible photons; we optimize brightness, purity, and fiber coupling for reliable interfaces.
Systems & automation to integrate optics, electronics, firmware, and control software, enabling stable operation, rapid iteration, and open tooling for the community.
