Students in all grades can check out one book at a time. Teachers can send students with a library pass to exchange their library book at any time during the school day if they complete their book prior to their scheduled library time. If a student is working on a class report, project, etc., they can check out an extra book as needed for the class project.
Wendy Savoca
My name is Mrs. Savoca. I am the Librarian here at Forestbrook Elementary. I can’t wait to share so many wonderful books with you this year! I graduated in 2017 with my Masters in Library Science from The University of South Carolina. This Fall I will be pursuing National Board Certification. I believe learning is a life-long process and I can’t wait to share my love of education with FES students! My husband and I have a 4 year old son who enjoys playing outside with our dog. We also have a new infant son. I enjoy gardening & home improvement projects in my spare time. I can’t wait to spend this year learning and growing with you!
Sandra Alford
My name is Mrs. Alford. I am the Library Aide for FES. I have been the library assistant at FES for 16 years. I worked four years as a school bus driver and an office assistant for Horry County Schools prior to that. I have three children, all who have attended Forestbrook Elementary and an almost 4 year old grandson! My husband and I are both Veteran's of the U.S. Army! I like to read many different kinds of books including Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, and anything by Nicholas Sparks!
