Requirements and/or Dues:
To be eligible for Science National Honors Society, students must have:
Be a current Junior or Senior.
Maintain a 3.0 GPA on 4.0 unweighted scale for all high school or college credit earning courses. (This must be maintained to remain in good standing)
Maintain a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 unweighted scale for all high school or college credit earning science courses. PLTW Sciences will be included in GPA calculations. (This must be maintained to remain in good standing).
If a junior - must be enrolled in or have previously taken two honors or AP level science course
If a senior - must be enrolled in or have previously taken three honors or AP level science courses and must be enrolled in a science course during senior year.
Be in good academic/behavioral standing.
