Ms. Asami Sheffield

My name is Asami Sheffield, one of four resource room teachers. I am very excited to be a Tyee member to work with you!!

About myself….. I was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. I have two boys in college, trying to figure out their future. I enjoy watching them grow up to be independent. We have a dog that we adopted from a rescue organization. He is not a cuddly one, but he has been a precious family member. In my spare time, I enjoy going for a long walk with our dog. I think walking helps me to clear my thoughts.

I will always welcome you if you need support or need someone to talk to. If you ever need to practice speaking Japanese, please contact me or stop by my classroom (once school opens). I will be happy to practice with you.
