American Sign Language

Hello! My name is Joani Bishop, I teach ASL 1, 2 and 3. This quarter you will become familiar with American Sign Language and Deaf Culture. ASL is the 4th most common language used in the United States and English-speaking parts of Canada. We have many Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and staff on our campus and you will be able to practice ASL with those in our community. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you.
