As a Work-Based Learning (WBL) coordinator, I help ensure students are aware of, participate in, and potentially receive academic credit for, extended or beyond-the-classroom learning through internships/apprenticeships and their jobs. I teach a Career Choices/Pathways course which is essentially a preparation for post-high school endeavors. Additionally, I helped design and open the Trades Academy in the 2019-20 school year, and teach three classes of Trades Exploration & Wood Shop.
