Position Description: This position will be working on translating code for EPS 129: Climate and Atmospheric Physics Laboratory from Matlab to Python. The codes should run as provided, so no knowledge of earth science is necessary. The code is for the data lab component of the course, which focuses on simple climate calculations and effective data visualization.
Duration: 3 weeks
Work Hours: 10 hours/week
Pay Rate: $15/hour
Qualifications/Requirements:
comfortable coding in Python and familiar with MATLAB
computer
internet
complete a survey at the end of the project
All necessary software, data, and instructions will be provided.
