Summary of the Text

 The book No Small Potatoes is by Tonya Bolden and Don Tate. The theme of the book is to never give up no matter what. This book is about a man named Junius George Grove. He was born in slavery and raised in sharecropping . He was also called the "Potato King"  And turned 8 acres into 8O acres. And in all his years he never gave up on himself.

Debt: you owe something but you don`t have enough of it.

Connection to the Reconstruction Era

Sharecropping is connected to the book because he got lent eight acres and turned it to eighty acres.He went into a lot of debt cause share cropping is getting lent tools but cost a lot or a little more but its always gonna be more  so you will go in debt . And he became really successful and paid off all of his debt. And became the "Potato King" because no one had planted as many potatoes as him.
