I AM READY TO APPLY! FOLLOW STEPS BELOW
Counselors and teachers need your Letter of Recommendation Request Form to know all about you, beyond what is on your transcript! This information is critical to a great letter of recommendation. Take your time with your profile, be thorough, and share what you are passionate about!
What is the Common Application? The Common Application is a single online college application form used by over 900 colleges and universities. Instead of filling out the same general information—like your address, GPA, and extracurriculars— a dozen times, you only have to do it once.
Once you create a Common App account, you will follow the directions HERE to link your Common App to your SchooLinks account. SchooLinks is where all of your documents and Letters of Recommendations will be sent to colleges.
Visit the college's website and look for "apply now/freshman application/undergraduate admissions." You will be re-routed to their preferred application platform.
Many (but not all) colleges use The Common App which allows students to complete one application that can be sent to multiple colleges.
Pay close attention to the email addresses for your recommenders (counselors, teachers, etc.).
Make sure to give your recommender at least 2-3 weeks to fill out your recommendation. Don't forget to tell your recommender that you have completed the Letter Of Recommendation Request Form.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the main application used to apply for federal or state-supported financial aid to pay for a college education. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) also serves as the application for the HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship. The FAFSA can be completed after December 1 of students' senior year. If you are not planning to complete the FAFSA, students can complete the GSFAPPS (Georgia Student Finance APP) on www.gafutures.org. Applications should be completed before the student graduates from high school.
