Next week the children will continue to practice finding the main idea and supporting details of a texct, comparing and contrasting those main ideas and supporting details across texts, and explaining the function of nouns, verbs, pronounds, adjectives, and adverbs. 

Students will calculate the perimeter of figures when given all sides of a shape. They will also have to find the unknown side when a side length is missing, but the perimeter is given. Students will then relate perimeter to area of rectangles.
