STANDARD MATH
In math this week, students will work on simplifying and factoring linear expressions.
ACCELERATED MATH
In accelerated math this week, students will work with problems including the increase or decrease of percentages.
LANGUAGE ARTS
In Language Arts this week, students begin Unit 2. They will read a short story entitled, "Heartbeat," and focus on character development and motivations in the story.
SCIENCE
In Science this week students will continue learning about plant cells and animal cells and use the models to explain how a cell structures function in order to maintain homeostasis
SOCIAL STUDIES
In social studies this week, students will continue learning about the history of Southwest Asia (Middle East) and specifically focus on the causes and impact of historical conflicts in the region.
