Standard Math:
Standard Math students will be working on the following AKS:
In the Probability and Statistical Questioning unit, students will continue to explore and compare key concepts in statistics. They will focus on measures of center (mean, median, and mode) as well as measures of variability (range, interquartile range, and mean absolute deviation) through dot plots and box plots (aligning with AKS 6f, 7a, 7b, and 7c).
Following the Georgia Milestones Assessments, the unit assessment will take place in May.
To prepare for Milestones and other end-of-year assessments, students are engaging daily in spiral review through a variety of questions, problem-solving exercises, and test-taking strategies.
We encourage your support by having students complete the Delta Math Milestones Review Practice at home. This will help reinforce the concepts covered in class and ensure they are well-prepared for the upcoming assessments.
Please also utilize the GA Milestones End of Grade Test Practice and Online Study Guides at https://www.gaexperienceonline.com/.
Students are encouraged to complete 20 minutes of practice each day. IReady Math is also available to help students grow!
